Christian Friends of Magen David Adom have dedicated a £90,000 bloodmobile at a Liverpool ceremony - the third vehicle donated to MDA by the Friends in four years.
The venue reflected the fact that the local Kingsway Christian Fellowship is one of the largest contributors to CFMDA. Around 140 supporters from the Christian and Jewish communities attended.
Letters of congratulation from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UK envoy Ron Prosor were read out.
Regional MDA director Richard Simon thanked the Christian Friends for their continued support, having raised a total £164,000.
"This was another exceptional and emotional dedication evening from the Christian Friends," he said. "Their support for MDA and Israel is incredible."
The next CFMDA project is a £350,000 extension to the MDA station in Tiberias.
