Two Hackney welfare programmes have received £10,000 in the latest Big Lottery Fund disbursements. Beis Yaakov Girls’ School will use its money for summer and winter playschemes for children from poor households. CMA will run a breakfast club for “economically disadvantaged” young Jewish males. A Salford organisaton, Bnos Agudas Yisroel, was allocated £8,100 for a summer holiday scheme providing culturally sensitive activities for girls from deprived backgrounds, or with social or learning needs.
