Three Leeds Wizo groups have undergone a merger and rebranding in a bid to increase membership.
Leeds Wizo 3000, Chaverot and Hannah Senesh groups are to come under one umbrella and be known as Leeds Wizo Aviv. Wizo member Elissa Winston explained: “The amalgamation will offer us a bigger membership and hopefully generate more ideas and events.”
Leeds Wizo has seven dedicated groups; 10 years ago the Leeds organisation, which formed in the early 1940s, boasted 12 groups.
