Christian clergy were in the succah at the Etz Chaim Synagogue in Leeds for the formal presentation of the Shalom Declaration, in support and appreciation of Israel, to Leeds Jewish Representative Council president Simon Jackson.
Board of Deputies consultant Steven Jaffe, who spearheaded the initiative, said it was "a major development".
The document, launched in March, calls on Church religious and lay leaders to work to combat antisemitism and to strengthen co-operation between the UK and Israel.
