Leadership posts filled for RSY

articlemain

The three Manchester area Reform communities now have youth leaders following two recent appointments of Manchester University students.

Michael Garsin is in situ at Jackson's Row (Manchester Reform Synagogue). It was heartening, he said, to be "surrounded by such an enthusiastic and dedicated group of people".

Sha'arei Shalom (North Manchester Reform Congregation) has taken on Alex Brenner. Shul chair Wayne Rashman pointed out that "having RSY-Netzer youth leaders at all three Reform synagogues in Manchester means events can be co-ordinated, something which has been lacking".

Another Manchester University student, Hadas Morris, has been working as RSY-Netzer Youth Leader for Menorah Synagogue (Cheshire Reform Congregation) since September.

Northern project worker Ben Abram observed: "Having all of the Manchester communities working together to deliver RSY-Netzer events across the city will be greatly beneficial".
