Immanuel College pupil Joshua Cainer is well on track to studying law at university after achieving nine A* grades and two As in his GCSEs. The Elstree teenager was particularly pleased with his top marks for history and music, subjects he respectively hopes to continue at A-level and as a hobby. "They were the ones I was gunning for along the way," he said.
"I'm thrilled that all the hard work paid off."
Joshua, who praised his supportive teachers, arrived at school well before the required time to get his results. "There's always a bit of anxiety," he said. "Now I've got them it's much better."
