A Jewish employment advisory service operating in Finchley and Redbridge has gone underground in an attempt to reach more community members in need of work-finding assistance.

Resource - which has helped 8,000 people into employment - has launched a poster campaign at Tube stops in major Jewish areas such as Gants Hill, Golders Green and Edgware. The campaign extends to the Thameslink station at Mill Hill Broadway.

"We've had some notable successes recently, with more clients finding work in the past few months," reported Resource's centre director Alan Shapiro. "But with unemployment rising and January being a month when many organisations shed staff, we need to reach out to even more members of our community who need our help."

The organisation has been established for 20 years and assists people without charge through seminars, networking and CV coaching.
