Responding to demand, the Jewish Marriage Council is starting a family therapy service next month.

"We believe we will be the only Jewish charity providing a family therapy service to the Jewish communities in north-west London," said Deborah Weinstein, the JMC's clinical director of counselling. "We will be starting slowly with two experienced family therapists."

The therapy is designed to help family members find constructive ways to understand, communicate with and help one another. The service will be offered on Sunday mornings at the JMC's Hendon offices.
