Jami moves into new era with Finchley purchase

articlemain

Mental health charity Jami has relocated from Golders Green to north Finchley, having purchased a property in Christchurch Avenue from Mind in Barnet for its resource hub, the Elliott Simmons Centre for Wellbeing. Mind will continue to operate from the upstairs rooms, offering the potential for collaborative activities.

Jami is maintaining a presence in Golders Green as its charity shop is undergoing a refit to incorporate a coffee shop and other facilities.

“The move to Finchley marks an exciting step in Jami’s delivery of mental health services to the community in north London,” said chief executive Laurie Rackind.

“The opportunity to purchase the building from Mind in Barnet has enabled Jami to secure the future of our provision.”
