Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks has produced two new electronic resources to extend his outreach to synagogue members.
A series of 15 short video "how-to" guides, which can be seen on the United Synagogue's website and YouTube, demonstrate a range of Jewish practices, from putting on tefillin to gelilah, rolling up the Sefer Torah.
Lord Sacks has also published a new volume of Letters to the Next Generation as an e-book which will be available on iPad, Kindle and iPhone, with a video introduction.
More than 50,000 print copies of the book will also be distributed in central Orthodox synagogues at Yom Kippur.
The first volume of Letters - letters addressed to imaginary students - appeared in 2009.
United Synagogue president Stephen Pack said the new volume "addresses all the fundamental questions we are often too scared to ask on faith, God and Judaism. It is something we need to do and don't do very often."
