Eight members of Jewish Care's Holocaust Survivors Centre who featured in the New Year's Honours were given a celebratory tea at the Hendon centre on Wednesday.
Susan Pollack, Ivor Perl, Lily Ebert, Jack Kagan, Freddie Knoller, Zigi Shipper, Renee Salt and Rudi Oppenheimer were congratulated by centre manager Aviva Trup, who said their awards "recognise the commitment to Holocaust education and awareness which the survivors have shown by sharing their experiences from the Holocaust tirelessly with others for many years".
Also among the guests was Agnes Grunwald-Spier, who was honoured for her work with the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust.
