Grodz buys Grodzinski premises in Golders Green

Shop is back in the hands of the Grodzinski family, with spring reopening planned

articlemain

Grodz of Edgware has bought the premises of the Golders Green Grodzinski shop, which went into liquidation in October, having been one of the area’s best known kosher stores.

Jonathan Grodzinski, director of Grodz and a great-grandson of the founder of the Grodzinski bakery brand, made the announcement in an online adult education session for Edgware Synagogue this week.

M & D Grodzinski in Golders Green had not been in family hands for a number of years.

Mr Grodzinski said the shop should reopen in late spring after extensive rebuilding.
