The Anne Frank Trust UK has received "significant" funding from the Department for Communities and Local Government to build on its educational activities in London and the west Midlands.
Now working in seven regions across the UK, the trust reaches more than 60,000 people with its educational programmes, workshops and public exhibitions, encouraging young people to challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
"The Anne Frank Trust is proud to be one of the flagship projects under the theme of preventing hate crime by challenging the beliefs and attitudes that can underlie such crimes," said Robert Posner, its chief executive.
A DCLG spokesman hoped the trust's work would also inspire more young people to engage in social action.
