Police were called to the JFS premises in Kenton last Thursday morning following reports of threats made to staff.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested following what headteacher Rachel Fink described as a “minor incident”. She would not give further detail.

The girl was charged with criminal damage, one public order offence, breach of bail and two counts of assault on an emergency worker. According to the Metropolitan Police, an officer was spat at during the incident.

The girl appeared at a magistrates’ court the following day and was bailed, the Met reported.

In a statement, Mrs Fink said: “The school respects the privacy of its pupils and therefore is not in a position to comment on individuals.”
