Finishing as runner-up in Channel 4's Child Genius contest was not a disappointment for Henrietta Barnett pupil Sasha Gordon, who had not expected to make it beyond the first round, "let alone be in the final two".
Sasha, 12, was "really proud I kept going. As I got further in the competition it started to become more of a reality rather than a dream.
"My friends all came over to watch the final and they've been so supportive of me throughout the show."
In the series finale, broadcast on Tuesday, Sasha answered questions on Anne Frank, her chosen specialist subject, which were set by Anne Frank Trust UK co-founder Gillian Walnes.
