Limmud is organising a day of online learning on May 3.
The Limmud Together UK is one of a number of global events planned during the pandemic by the cross-communal educational organisation.
Shosh Bloom, the London-based chair of Limmud’s global board, said: “While we might be physically distant, we are re-imagining our community in this difficult time.
“This virtual Limmud event brings you one step further on your Jewish journey from the safety of your living room.”
As well as locals such as Jonathan Freedland and Baroness Deech, there will be contributions from American Alex Edelman, head writer of Saturday Night Seder, former Israeli Knesset member Ruth Calderon, founder of the Alma Centre for Hebrew culture, and David Yarus, who established the J-Swipe dating service.
Concessionary £1 tickets are available for those affected by coronavirus, as well as for Limmud volunteers.
