Foodies filling up in Leeds

After the Shabbat UK challah, Yorkshire food lovers got down to some serious eating on Sunday at the Leeds Big Jewish Nosh Fest. The menu of activities for the 700 visitors to the Etz Chaim Synagogue venue included cookery demonstrations, a variety of food stalls and advice on healthy eating. Among dishes of the day were a chicken goulash pie and Persian meatballs in okra and lime sauce on a bed of rice.
