One lucky partygoer walked away with a £400 voucher for an ElAl flight to Israel last week after winning a round of musical bingo in aid of a charity that helps Israeli victims of terror.

Instead of numbers, guests at the inaugural event arranged by the Young One Family for Israel committee competed for clean lines of the same songs, including tracks by All Saints, Britney Spears and Tina Turner.

The event, held at the Adelaide in Primrose Hill, attracted around 200 young professionals who helped raise some £3,500 to support the organisation's work rebuilding families and communities shattered by terrorism.

Guests also heard about the work of One Family which brings over groups of young Israelis to meet their British counterparts, and were addressed by a man whose brother was killed while serving in the Israeli army during the Second Lebanon war.
