Christian clergy have been in Israel for a 10-day course on the Holocaust at Yad Vashem under Council of Christians and Jews' auspices.

The group was accompanied by CCJ vice-president Lionel Kopelowitz, who said: "It is of extreme importance that the events of the Holocaust should not be forgotten and that this and future generations should continually be made aware of this most tragic episode, resulting in the death of six million Jews. The world must ensure that such tragedies do not happen again and the Church can play a key role in spreading the message."
