Chai Cancer Care's Elaine Kerr has been chosen by Norwood as the replacement for its departing chief executive Norma Brier. She is expected to start in the autumn.
During Ms Kerr's time at Chai, the number of people using its services has grown from 400 to approaching 1,500 and it has developed pioneering activities. She previously had more than 15 years' experience in the NHS, holding high level positions.
She looked forward to joining "a world-class provider of social care services".
