The Little Bicks nursery operating from Ohr Yisrael Synagogue in Borehamwood has been rated as outstanding in all categories by Ofsted inspectors.

They found that children were "happy and busy" with easy access "to a range of excellent learning opportunities". They benefited from "a highly motivated and experienced staff team who provide excellent teaching".

The children had high levels of confidence and a strong sense of belonging in an environment that was "secure, well maintained and stimulating. Staff have an excellent knowledge and understanding of all aspects of safety."

To improve additionally, the 44-pupil nursery should "build on the already excellent outside learning environment to provide children with further opportunities to extend their imaginative play ideas".
