Commons Speaker John Bercow has told a JFS audience that “there cannot be a better fully non-selective state comprehensive school anywhere in the United Kingdom”.
Addressing 700 people at the JFS graduation ceremony on Tuesday, Mr Bercow said he based the claim on “my previous visit to this school and engagement with its sixth form” — and reading the 2006 and 2009 Ofsted inspection reports.
The JFS A-level class of 2012 achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with 80 per cent achieving A-star, A or B grade
