Teenagers from BBYO joined with their peers around the world for a day of youth service.

BBYO is the first British organisation to run activities for J-Serve, an American-initiated charity project launched seven years ago. This year, more than 10,000 young Jews across the globe undertook projects within their communities.

The BBYO contribution was preparing and serving a three-course-meal at a homeless shelter in Watford, featuring soup, lasagna and apple crumble.

Organiser Eli Samuels said: “It feels so great to be able to give so much to others.”
