More than 100 MPs have signed an Early Day Motion marking the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht, on which the Nazis smashed windows of Jewish premises in Germany and Austria.

The motion declares that "Kristallnacht should remind us all that evil must always confronted forcefully". It also applauds the work of organisations such as the Holocaust Educational Trust in teaching new generations about the consequences of unchallenged racism.
