Some over-50s complained that they were routinely overlooked by employers in favour of younger candidates, or were considered only for admin roles.
“But there are employers who are very receptive towards applications from older people,” Ms Sterman said.
“It’s about state of mind, positive reinforcement and a sharpening of tools.”
