Children’s camp director to remain in custody

A children’s summer camp director who faces charges relating to indecent images of children will remain in prison for another two months.

Ben Lewis, director and co-founder of the privately-run LL Camps is accused of three counts of making indecent images of a child.

No application for bail was made at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday, and 25-year-old Mr Lewis will remain in Bedford Prison until October 23 when the case will return to court and he is expected to enter a plea.

While Mr Lewis, of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, did not attend the short hearing, his father was in court.
