CBGB - Where Punk Rock was born

The 1970s regeneration of rock started in CBGB, a tiny New York club owned by Hilly Kristal, the son of Orthodox Russian-Jewish immigrants. This theatre was considered THE place in New York City to play and to hear experimental music.
