The JC has learned that the guests of honour at the Board of Deputies’ annual dinner in November will be King Abdullah of Jordan - following in the footsteps of his father, King Hussein, who attended the Board’s annual dinner several years ago.

The dinner’s theme will be
multi-culturalism, interfaith and world peace.

King Abdullah held talks with representatives of the Jewish community at a meeting hosted by Jewish Leadership Council chairman Mick Davis earlier this summer.

Prince Charles addressed 500 deputies and supporters of the Board at last year’s dinner.
