Board president Jonathan Arkush said: “The general election comes at an important time for the Jewish community and it underlines the centrality of the Board to the UK’s Jewish community that representatives of the major parties have accepted our invitation to hold a hustings for the community at this Board meeting.
“The election gives candidates the opportunity to state their position clearly on the issues and concerns of the UK Jewish community and we have a newly updated Jewish manifesto which we will be sending to candidates, encouraging them to support our ‘Ten Commitments’.”
Gillian Merron, the Board’s chief executive, will be chairing and there will be the opportunity for questions from the audience.
The hustings will also be live streamed on Youtube.
