The Green Party’s leadership contest might not have set the political world alight but here is one reason to keep an eye on the outcome. Bidding for a role as deputy leader is Daniella Radice, sister of our world news editor Orlando Radice. A spell on Kibbutz Ein Gedi helped to foster her love of the natural world, where she “picked pomelos, lived in a beautiful oasis in the desert by the Red Sea and saw a wild leopard”.
Voting starts on July 25 with the result announced a month later.
