A video of baby Leo, enjoying his dad playing the piano, has taken Twitter by storm.

It has been viewed more than 270,000 times since being posted on Sunday.

It shows Leo, nine months, clearly delighting in his dad, Josh Fox, playing a song by Jessie J.

Leo’s mother, Danielle, said: “Josh often plays the piano with Leo as he has always enjoyed music and it's been a great source of fun given the current lockdown.”

“He’s always responded to music, I play the piano every day. When he was in Dani’s womb I played the piano. He seemed to have a real reaction to this song,” Josh told the JC

"We sent the video to friends and family, as we always do. And my friend Simon said that we should post it on social media. We don’t really do much of that. ”

The couple’s friend went on to post it on their behalf. “We didn’t really think anything of it.

“The views and the retweets and the responses went completely mad. When it’s your baby you think everything is cute, you don’t think you’re going to get messages from as far away as New Zealand.”

Both Josh and Danielle are solicitors in London but are working from home, balancing their jobs with childcare.

“Being confined to the house we can tell Leo misses interacting with other babies. The piano became a really great way to give him a bit of entertainment and enjoyment,” said Josh.

The clip has proven so popular that it was even featured on ITV's Good Morning Britain.

“Thank you, this is beautiful and amazing. The baby is pure perfection and daddy isn't too bad either. Love this!” wrote Curlyque on Twitter.

“This has made my day thank you anytime I feel blue I will have to watch this to cheer me up,” replied Sonia Tonkin.

“It’s great to see it bring joy to people. It’ll be amazing to tell him about it when he’s older,” said Josh.
