British Jewish businessman Lord Sugar has unveiled new plans to build a 20,000 sq ft factory in Bolton.
The plan to build the plant, which will form part of his Amscreen technology group, was announced yesterday.
The British Jewish businessman tweeted: “Excited for Amscreen investment in new Bolton manufacturing plant - engaging w local businesses & bringing new jobs.”
His son Simon Sugar, chief executive of Amscreen, said: “Bolton has a deep heritage in skills that include manufacturing, metalwork and glass.
“We are proud to be using and supporting each of these as part of our outdoor screen project.”
The factory, which could boost employment in the area, is set to produce high-quality, sunlight-resistant screens for the company.
