Skiing in France gets easier, San Diego celebrates and why you might like a phone-free break
October 18, 2018 11:09If you’re planning winter on the slopes, new flight routes to Grenoble are making it easier to explore the French Alps this season, including Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes, along with around 20 other resorts across the Isere region of France.
From December, Thomas Cook, Jet2 and Wizz Air are all introducing more flights from the UK to Grenoble Alpes Isere airport — the first flight of the season takes off on November 29, with the main departures beginning on December 15 as more resorts open.
Thomas Cook and Jet2 will both be flying from Birmingham, with the former also departing from Gatwick and Wizz Air from Luton. Prices start from £83 return and all routes end on April 6, 2019.
