As destinations and hotels tackle the problem of post-coronavirus tourism, here's how two are planning for a healthier future

The way we travel after the pandemic is inevitably going to look very different — and still hard to predict. But one thing we’re all likely to be searching for when we can travel again, is reassurance beyond packing face masks and hand sanitiser.

For many companies, that means new health protocols and promises to set potential customers’ minds at rest.

The Accor hotels group has announced a partnership with AXA to offer medical assistance in its hotels worldwide, from as soon as July, giving guests access to medical professionals in their 110 destinations, including English-speaking specialists.

It’s part of their ALLSAFE standard, with stringent cleanliness standards developed and accredited by Bureau Veritas, as well as staff training, social distancing and other preventative measures
