A Camp David Overture (Prayer for Peace) was inspired by the Camp David Peace Accords and is dedicated to Prime Minister Begin and President Anwar Sadat. The idea behind it is that music can foster closer cultural ties between people.

The symphony was first played in Sacramento in 1996 and has drawn audiences from Israel, Egypt, France, and Canada. The version on the video comes from a recent performance with the University of Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.
