Demonstration for Gilad Shalit in New York

May 26, 2009 20:42

On Wednesday May 27, Gilad Shalit will have been in captivity for 1070 days. Tomorrow at 12pm , 1070 students and other protestors will gather opposite the offices of the International Red Cross in New York, demanding that the IRC fulfil their obligation to prisoners of war and visit Gilad Shalit to ascertain his state of health. That is his most basic human right, and it has been denied for almost three years. Protesters should assemble outside the offices of the IRC at 801 Second Avenue, Manhattan. Please forward this information to anyone who might be able to join this protest.
