Maccabi GB’s latest inter-school sports tournament saw a victorious Wolfson Hillel triumph in the Year 5 and 6 girls’ football tournament.
Thirty-four teams from 15 schools participated in the All Aboard-sponsored event with 275 young footballers taking part. A thrilling final, which was watched by a 175 spectators, finished 1-0 to Wolfson Hillel Red over their rivals Akiva Red.
Maccabi GB’s School and Sports Coordinator Nathan Bloohn said: “It was brilliant to see such a high-quality tournament with so many players and schools taking part.
“With every tournament we host the quality increases at every event.”
