Mathilda Marks-Kennedy have won Maccabi GB’s latest Inter-school tournament, claiming the honours in the Year 6 Girls Netball tournament.
Sponsored by All Aboard Charity Shops, 15 teams from 10 schools took part in the event, which saw MMK earn the winner’s medal by beating Independent Jewish Day School 2-1 in the final.
Bringing together a total of 140 players, who were buoyed on by a further 50 spectators, Nathan Bloohn, school and sports coordinator at Maccabi GB, said: “The tournament was fantastic, and on show was a remarkable display of skill, sportsmanship, and passion.”
