Danny Caro's Team of the Week: March 21

There's a lovely blend of youth and experience in my latest master-class.

articlemain

1. DAVID GARSON (Faithfold B) - hero of the hour in the BGT, with two stunning penalty saves against Hertswood Vale

2. ADAM MYEROFF (London Lions) - read the game superbly against Baldock Town, making some vital and perfectly-timed interceptions, up against a player 20 years his junior. Let that sink in for a minute!

3. JORDAN MARKS (London Lions) - had an excellent game, combining resolute defending with bombing forward at every opportunity, used the ball well and didn't stop working

4. ROB SANFORD (FC Team) - capped a memorable debut with a hat-trick from centre-half

5. ASHLEY HIRSCHBERGER (Hertswood Vale) - made a crucial goal-saving tackle and didn't deserve to be on losing team against Faithfold

6. MARC HECT (FC Team) - "bossed the game" against Catford

7. JAKE FURMAN (London Lions) - a real warrior in the pressure-cooker atmosphere of a cup final. Up against physical opponents, he didn't shirk a challenge and ran himself into the ground. Showed great touch, vision and movement

8. MAX MISRAHI (ML Lions U21) - "outstanding in the centre of the park" in the Southern Amateur League

9.  JAY ROSENBLATT (Faithfold B) - debut appearance in the JC Select XI after an industrious performance that helped the Superhoops take another step towards the final

10. CHAIM BORDON (Faithfold B) - best outfield performer in the BGT

11. DAN CREESE (ML Lions U21) - "showed his unquestionable talent" against Somers Town, scoring the goal of the game

STAR MAN: Rob Sanford (FC Team)

MANAGER: David Garson (Faithfold B)
