Redbridge had the opportunity to snatch a late winner in normal time with a ball fizzed across the face of the box which managed to work its way past three Redbridge strikers. After that moment, it was all Lions and the younger legs were able to dominate in extra-time.
Ollie Craig was superb, ensuring the Redbridge attackers barely got a look in, whilst also being calm and composed on the ball. A well taken goal by substitute Kenley and a customary goal for Mogilner put the game to bed.
"The better team won, just," conceded RJC boss Richard Bronzite. He went on to tell JC Sport: "I was very impressed with my boys, the whole squad today showed a lot of character and bottle and I was really surprised by how determined the boys were. Lions deserve to be in the next round and we wish them well but they had a battle on their hands today.
"We had a great chance to nick it right at the end of normal play, which is really frustrating but shows that you have to take your chances when you get them. All my boys deserve special mentions but Adam Hakimi today at centre half was just a joy to watch."
