CYRIL ANEKSTEIN CUP SEMI-FINALS

HENDON UNITED SPORTS 2 MACCABI LONDON LIONS 0

A goal in each half from Simon Peterman and Gav Noe guided Hendon United Sports into another cup final as they completed a professional win over Lions at Hadley FC.

Jubilant Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "It was a great performance in a real old-fashioned cup tie, played in a swirling wind, rain and hail throughout, but both teams but in a real shift and battled extremely well."

Lions joint-manager Max Kyte told JC Sport: "It was a much deserved win for Hendon who played the conditions. We wish Hendon the best of luck in the final. Hopefully we can turn things around for next Sunday’s PM semi."

OAKWOOD A 2 LOS CAMDEN A 0

First-half strikes from Toby Levy and Josh Cuby guided holders Oakwood A into another cup final with Hendon United after they saw off a determined effort from Los Camden at the Ark in Wembley.

Oaks joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "Ultimately it was about getting the job done. We scored goals at key times to make it three finals in four years.

Co-boss Dave Cohen added: "We always turn up in the final and will arrive for that game super-confident."

Camden boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "'Today was a tough one to take - both keepers didn't have to make a save in a very low-quality affair but ultimately we conceded two very soft goals and lost the game and were made to pay because of this."

Max Freedman and Adam Goldman registered as Fairlop FC secured promotion with a game to spare following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Bayern Mincha.

Bayern player-manager Daniel Holder scored for the hosts, in what was the last game for the club.

A reflective Holder told JC Sport: "Sunday was the perfect game to epitomise our season. We were more than worthy of at least a point but yet again we fell short."

NORTH LONDON GALAXY 1 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 5

A NATHAN SOLLOSI master-class helped Redbridge Jewish Care A all but clinch the Division One title following a five-star win over North London Galaxy.

Nathan scored four goals, while brother Sam Sollosi added the gloss to start RJC's title party.

"The boys were asked to show their mental strength and attitude and let their abilities shine, and they achieved this and more. With MGBSFL Division One title virtually won, this could not have been possible without the set-up and structure at Redbridge Jewish Care. The efforts of Jon Jacobs and Richard Bronzite are much appreciated."

FC TEAM 7 SCRABBLE FC B 1

A five-goal bonanza from RICHARD SALMON inspired FC Team to their ninth league win of the season as they completed the double over Scrabble B.

Further strikes from Josh Morris and Connor Perl completed the rout.

FC Team player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "It was a very comfortable performance, and if it wasn’t for the Scrabble goalkeeper it would have been double figures. Our attacking play was precise and we all worked hard to try and give Salmon the goals so we can win the trophy for top-scorer. We have found a nice rhythm to our play and it is just a shame it has come too late in the season to do anything.”
