Births:

DOBKIN. Stephanie and Jonathan are delighted to announce the birth of Lexi Ivy. Mazeltov to sister Ella and grandparents Beverly and Graham Sherling, Andrea Dobkin and the late Ian Dobkin and great-grandparent Maureen Sherling.

GRANT. Jess and Joe are delighted to announce the early and safe arrival of their gorgeous first daughter, Georgie Izzy, on 22nd April 2024. Baby sister to Jamie Teddy. Grandparents Cheryl and Simon Gordon, Della and Rick Grant and great-grandma Irene Gothelf are all thrilled. Remembering late grandparents with love.

Deaths:

BOURNE. Renee. We mourn the loss of our beloved matriarch who reached 104 years of age. Our very own dancing queen. Renee was a role model for all who knew and loved her. She had a wonderful gift of making everyone feel special and loved. We take comfort from knowing that she is reunited with all her loved ones who have passed before her. She will forever be in our hearts. Beverley and Steven, David, grand, great and great great-grandchildren and all who knew and loved her.

CANNON. Raymond. Beloved husband, dad, grandpa, distinguished lawyer and community leader. Died peacefully in Israel, aged 90, on May 3rd. Deeply mourned by his wife Jeanette, sons Graham, Jonny and Adam, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

LEUW. David. Died peacefully, aged 88, on Friday 10th May after a short illness. A loving and wonderful husband to Jill, devoted father to Martin and father-in-law to Emma, adored grandfather to Ella and Talia. He was a true pillar of our family and community, always on hand to provide support and guidance. David was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.

LUBIN. Vera. A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed. A life full of adventure, travel and hard work. Vera was very special to all that knew her and was a truly memorable character. She passed away on Tuesday 7th May and was 97 years old.

TAYLOR. Mildred. Passed away on 8th May, surrounded by her family. Adored mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Will always be remembered with love by children Martin and Carole and by Sylvia, Nick, Emma, Barney, Daniel, Francesca, Howard, Billy, Jonathan, Matan, Ari, Zipporah and Athena. A true eshet chayil, so caring to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

TAYLOR. Mildred. Saddened by the loss of a strong, principled, warm and caring lady, who made everyone feel like family. Our thoughts are with Martin, Carole, Sylvia, Nick and the whole family. Stephen, Lucy, Joshua and Liorah.

In Memoriam:

GOLD. Marion. Our beloved mum and grandma passed away on 15th May 2019. We truly miss her and she is always in our thoughts. Melanie, Gary, Tracey, Samantha, Robert, James, Richard and Emma.

WOLFSON. Lord Wolfson of Marylebone. My beloved husband Leonard passed away 20th May 2010; and remembering our beloved Michael Jackson, who passed away 22nd May 1985, father of Antoinette and Edward. Two men of great intellect and integrity whom I was most fortunate to have shared my life with. They both remain forever in my heart with much love and admiration for being such significant mentors and soulmates.- Estelle Wolfson.
