GARFIELD. Maya Eden. On 29th Cheshvan 5786 (20th November 2025) at St Thomas’ Hospital, to Stephanie and Joshua of the East London and Essex Liberal Synagogue community, a daughter, Maya Eden. Born three months early, baby Maya is a blessing who enters the world dearly loved by her parents and extended family.
BOGOD. Michael. Passed away 15th November, aged 97. A wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A man of unlimited kindness and integrity, and hugely respected pillar of the Cardiff Jewish community for over 70 years. Above all, devoted to his late wife Lillian and his family and loved by all who knew him. He will be forever missed by his sons Howard, Richard and Stephen, daughters-in-law Nicole and Linda, grandchildren Isi, Daisy, Charlotte, Jess, Dylan, Mia, Natasha and Alicia, and great-grandson Theo.
SANTCROSS. Jack. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 7th November. Born in Amsterdam in 1934, Jack was a remarkable man, a Dutch Holocaust survivor who settled in England after WW2 where he rebuilt his life after the horrors of the concentration camps. A successful businessman, a kind and generous man, Jack translated Abel J Hertzberg’s secret diary of life in the Bergen-Belsen camp - Between Two Streams: A Diary from Bergen-Belsen: from Dutch into English, bringing this important record to an English-speaking readership. Jack’s life was a triumph of of the spirit in adversity and he is sorely missed by his loving family.
WERNICKE. Michael. Passed away on 17th November, 2025. Our Trustee, Michael, generously contributed his time and expertise to the charity and will be sadly missed by everyone at All Aboard Charity Shops. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his wife Dianna and family.
HALLE. Klaude. Died tragically on 28th November 2007, in Spain. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed. Ruth.
