The Harlem Shake: Yeshiva University Style

The Harlem Shake is the internet meme sensation that has swept the globe this February. What began in Australia with a group of surfers crazy dancing to 30 seconds of Harlem Shake by dance music producer Baauer, has now been replicated by just about every group imaginable.

Swimming teams, talk shows and a squadron of the Norwegian army have all ignored one of their members boogying on down, that is, until the bass drops.

An estimated 40,000 versions have been made so far and watched over 175 million times. Here is our favourite Jewish themed video, from New York’s Yeshiva University.
