Shahar Peer bowed out of the Ladies Doubles competition in the first round as she and partner Zi Yan were beaten by the fifth seeds.

Peer, who failed to reach the main draw in the Ladies Singles, ended a miserable few days, going down 6-4, 6-4 against fifth seeds Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears.
