Vale switch is move forward

John Emburey has described London Maccabi Vale’s acceptance into the Chess Valley League as a huge step forward.

The former England star, who is manager of Middlesex County Cricket Club, said that it is “about time that the top league in the area admitted a Jewish team and London Maccabi Vale is the only one that qualifies at it is running a junior section”.

It is believed Middlesex coaches will spend time with LMV’s colts at training sessions during the season.
