London Maccabi Lions Under Nines were crowned champions of the Watford Friendly League White Division. Having strung together a seven-match unbeaten run, they went into their final game against Hemel Hempstead needing a draw to claim their title on the last day of the season. Mikey Perkins, golden boot winner Morgan Leizer (2), Jacob Brunert and Charlie Dryer helped them wrap up a 5-2 victory.
London Maccabi Lions Under 11s won the Chorleywood six-a-side competition without conceding a goal.
The Rowley Lane team won all their group games and they eased into the semi-finals as group winners. They put five past Harvesters in the semi-final to set up a final against defending champions Little Gaddesden. Lions held their nerve to win the final in a penalty shootout with Jordan Freeman, Sammy Kingston, Teddie Levenfiche, Benji Levene and captain-for-the-day Ben Myers converting while keeper Jake Krais made the all-important save.
Hendon Inter Schools dominated the Under 15 five-a-side competition with the A team conquering the Bs in the final.
HIS A started well with a 4-1 success over Stonegrove A. They went on to beat tournament favourites Scrabble and Stonegrove B courtesy of a brace from Shaya Grunfeld.
HIA B overcame Scrabble 2-0 before routing Stonegrove B 6-1 with Dovi Wertzberger stealing the show.
Needing only a draw to pip their B team to the post, the As were forced to come from behind to snatch silverware with strikes from JJ Kimche, Grunfeld and supersub Eli Stimler earning them a 3-1 success.
Stonegrove Park U12s completed a fine one-two at the AJY five-a-sides. The As narrowly beat the second string in a competition where neither Stonegrove side lost a match.
