Ten-man Hendon defeat Catford and Bromley

A stunning late comeback from Hendon United B averted a shock in the Peter Morrison Trophy as they beat Catford & Bromley 8-4.

Joel Isaacs, Leo Brownstein, Craig Edwards and John Keller had put the Cats in a strong position. Hendon, who were missing eight regulars, lost their keeper after 15 minutes and played much of the tie with 10 men due to injuries, hit back through Gav Noe (3), Chaim Gothold (2), Amit Dinowitz, Gideon Lipman and Martin Smulovitch.

Cats boss Lester Jacob lamented: "I watched my team simply self-destruct to concede six goals in the last quarter."

London Maccabi Lions A returned to the top of the JC MSFL Premier Division after thumping South Manx 5-1 with goals from Lee Bibring, Michael Pearson, Motti Colman, Aviel Schwarz and an own goal.

Mitch Lassman (2), new signing Jamie Shaw and Sam McCarthy helped Redbridge Jewish Care A register their second league victory with a 4-1 success over Lions B.

Jacob Gold, Nicky Woolf and Jonny Blain found the net as North London Raiders A returned to joint-top spot in Division One with a 3-1 win over Camden Park. Matt Geey and Anthony Kintish earned Oakwood a 2-1 win over Montana Boca United A. Red Sea took six points from a double-header against Redbridge B. Ilan Shaki and Stefan Benfredj found the net as they won the opener 2-1. Dan Gordon replied. They followed it up with a 3-2 success with Ben Nassim (2) and Benfredj on target.

London Maccabi Lions C are up to
second in Division Two after beating FC Team B 3-1 with goals from Bradley Lazarus, Ami Wynbourne and Sam Rudnick. Richard Salmon replied.

Gideon Wetrin and Paul Walker saw Temple Fortune past Rapid Banta.

Doron Hershkorn and David Rees helped Faithfold B come from behind to beat Holy Mount Zion. Yves Florentin-Lee struck fro HMZ.

Montana B's Division Three title hopes were dealt a blow as they were beaten 4-3 by Hendon C. Hendon forged into a 2-0 lead but Montana hit back with goals from Darren Bloom and Mark Simons (2). But two goals in the last 10 minutes left Montana boss Nick Goodmaker saying: "I'm fuming about the result and also as I believe that they dropped one or two players down but as it's Hendon I'm sure all done perfectly within the rules."

Woodford Wanderers hammered Zig Zag 8-1 with goals from Jerome Marks (3), Darryl Green (2), Elliott Gold, Alex Aviram and Andy Levy. Danny Jacobs grabbed a consolation.

Jonathan 'JJ' Marrache (3) and Manu Heymann inspired FC Marylebone to a 4-1 win over FC Heath.

Daniel Jackson (2), Richard Rosenthal, Craig Mervish and Daniel Lipman helped Glenthorne to a 5-1 thumping of Real Life in Division Four. Joe Callum (2), Matt Rhodes, Jon Temerlies, Paul Black, Jonny Reid and Paul Rich eased Team JLGB to a 7-1 success over HMH.

David Castle (3), Craig Sandford (2), Jake Sanders, Simon Bagel and Josh Barnett set up Redbridge C's 8-1 demolition of Pinner JFC. Joel Kutner (2), Dan Baum (2) and Michael Gaventa were on target as Blizzard Storm took four points from a double-header against leaders UJIA.

Maurice Franks hit the winner as UJS Norstar B edged past Jewventus for whom keeper Simon Shooter saved two penalties.
