articlemain

It has been a spectacular day for Great Britain’s Maccabiah team.

This morning, Chloe Jacobs, Hollie Fisher, Rachel Ayrton and Elisha Kramer won bronze in the girls' 4x100m individual medley.

Celebrations increased as Ellie Edwards won a bronze in the girls' 200m sprint and Sam Shindler-Glass delivered a silver medal in the boys' 1500m race.

James Bongart stole the show with an impressive silver medal in the boys’ javelin and a bronze medal as part of the boys' 4x100m team.

After an extremely close race, Simon Kay and Rob Williams came away with bronze in the coxless pairs rowing event.

The haul continued with a silver medal from Philip Bloom in the masters 100+ kg judo competition and Tracy Capal’s medal in the masters golf net event.

Today’s success means Team GB has won eight medals in twenty-four hours.
