Super Stock

articlemain

Matt Stock's fourth goal in two game earned the Lions a share of the spoils against leaders Berkhamsted.

Lying third in the South Midlands League Division One, it was the Lions who drew first blood when Stock cut in from the left before firing home from 20 yards.

A lapse in the Lions midfield allowed Berkhamsted to equalise with Aaron Usmani curling a shot into the top corner.

Danny Berliner produced a couple of fine stops to keep the Lions on level terms with Stock and James Gershfield denied in the closing stages.

Lions: Berliner, Myeroff, Morris, Barnes, Glass, Lauffer, Stanton (sub: Souter), Glynne, Stock, Stolerman (sub: Keterman), Gershfield. Subs not used: Nyman, C. Ellis, B. Ellis
