JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- ALEX SHER (NL Raiders C) - GOAL 1 - skipped past five challenges to round a fantastic move and open his account for the season

- ASH STOKES (Catford & Bromley) - GOAL 2 - probably the best goal Jeff Gotch has seen this season. A Cross from Jamie down the right to the far post, Gotch heads it back to edge of the box and Stokes volleys in an unstoppable shot

- JOSH BHARIER (Scrabble FC) - a powerful run into the Finchley penalty box saw him hold off several challenges before planting the ball low into the Finchley net to give Scrabble a well deserved lead

- DANNY BLOOM (NL Raiders B) - stunning 25-yard direct free-kick curled deliciously into the net

- WILL UFLAND (NL Raiders B) - a sweeping end to end move for the 7th. Marc Woolfe clearing a corner with a smart ball out to Nicky Woolf whose first-time cushioned volley released Ufland, who slid a ball wide to centre back Charles Braunstein who'd charged up the right wing, Charles' square pass was flicked on by Alex Goodman to Ufland who picked his spot and whipped a 25 yard shot in to the top corner

- TOM ALEXANDER (Woodford Wanderers) - smashed in a volley on the turn from the edge of the box that flew into the top corner. It was an amazing goal, one of the best Daryl Kaye has seen at Sunday league level!

- JONNY KAYE (SPEC FC) - stunning strike whistled into the top corner against Hendon

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

JC SAVE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- DAVID GARSON (Faithfold B) - sublime save after the RJC winger cut in on the left-hand side outside the box and curled it right into the top corner but Garson at full-stretch managed to get a strong hand to it forcing out for a corner

- ADAM LEVESON (NL Raiders C) - stand-in No. 1 pulled out a top save to deny Boca

--------------------------------
--------------------------------

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- SIMON LINDEN (Temple Fortune) - "I said to the team after the game, that we just watched the team that are supposed to be favourites for the title celebrate a 2-2 draw...can't be bad!"

- AVI MARKIEWICZ (RCUK FC) - "Am I happy with the performance? No, we all needed to be better. Am I happy with the result? No, I want to win every game and I believe that we had enough quality to do so, but I am very happy with the attitude that we showed"

- MITCH YOUNG (FC Team A) - "Credit firstly to Martin de la Fuente for making such a big bold call early on in the game and second to Raiders who weirdly with 10 men were able to play a counter-attacking game which suited their attacking players, and Liron Mannie was unplayable"

- DAN KRISTALL (Oakwood A) - "We now go into the Yom Tov break after a tidy start and look forward to welcoming back some key personnel. We know the areas that we must improve and look forward to the run up to Chanukah where I am sure we will be challenging on all fronts"

FC Team boss Mitch Young told JC Sport: "I am disappointed with certain players in my squad for letting me down last minute meaning we only had 11. But in truth we didn't create enough but did have a lot of players filling in to help out."

Tom Alexander had put Woodford in front with a stunning goal-of-the-week contender, but Mogilner cancelled it out late on.

Woodford boss Daryl Kay told JC Sport: "We were without key players Harrison Midda and James Ryan and Adam Shaf today, and I'm sure if we'd had had all 3 we'd have won comfortably, but that's football."

Brady joint-manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "Brady joint-manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "After a frantic opening 20 minutes we felt like we controlled the game, limited them to basically nothing and created several chances.
